Guided by the development philosophy of "STEAM for All, STEAM for Elites," we are committed to providing diverse learning experiences that emphasize both popularization and elite cultivation.
In terms of "STEAM for All," all students can engage with content such as programming, artificial intelligence, robotics, 3D design, and environmental technology through cross-curricular thematic exploration, hands-on creation, and project-based learning. Equipped with the PLKCHC Innovative Lab, Celine Ho Maker Space, and STEAM Lab, the school features advanced facilities like VR/AR virtual reality and AI autonomous vehicles, while incorporating an aquaponics system. These allow students to explore freely during after-school hours, stimulating curiosity in practice, and honing problem-solving skills as well as a collaborative spirit.
In terms of "STEAM for Elites," we provide advanced training for students who demonstrate high potential and strong interest. Beyond gifted education courses, students can participate in in-depth scientific research projects under the guidance of professional mentors, such as the "In-School Coral Nursery Education Programme" and the "Black Soldier Fly Food Waste Recycling and Reuse Scheme." Furthermore, the school actively arranges for students to step onto the international stage, participating in prestigious competitions such as the International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition (iGEM) and the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, where they exchange ideas and compete with global talents, deepening their creativity and putting it into practice.
Through this dual-track strategy, we aim to nurture a new generation of inventors who possess both scientific literacy and innovative thinking, while embodying humanistic care, being courageous in exploration, and willing to give back to society.
