Our students participated in the CLP Substation Beautification Project – Mural Design Workshop, jointly organised by CLP Power Hong Kong Limited and the Po Leung Kuk, using art as a means to connect with the community and add creativity and colour to the Kai Tak Substation. The workshop was led by a local artist Stella So (So Man Yee), who guided students in learning the concepts and techniques of mural creation, as well as how to incorporate elements of environmental protection, community, and history into their artwork. Ms. So also led students to an exploration of the culture of Kowloon City, introducing CLP’s efforts in promoting green communities and sustainable development. Inspired by community stories, students collaboratively developed mural design concepts. Through this project, students experienced the joy of artistic creation and learned to express environmental and cultural values in innovative ways, contributing to the development of an inclusive city.
