The Second Staff Development Day of this school year was successfully held on March 25.

In the first session, two educational psychologists from Po Leung Kuk, Ms. Omar Shirin and Ms. Chung Ka Wai, were invited to deliver a talk for teachers titled “How to Enhance Positive Sense of Achievement in the Classroom.” The talk introduced staff to the concept of sense of achievement and the growth mindset). Through the talk, teachers reflected on how classroom design and instructional strategies can boost students’ learning confidence and foster a culture of self-directed learning.

In the second session, our principal, Mr. Lo Kwok Leung, and teachers shared insights on the AI education policy and practice. This session deepened teachers’ understanding of the AI education policy and strengthened staff’s knowledge of how to use AI in learning, teaching, and assessment to improve teaching and learning effectiveness and to enhance students’ AI literacy.
