“The Gentle Lore of Sea and Stone” Shandong Natural and Cultural Heritage Study Tour was held from June 29 to July 2. During this itinerary, students successively visited the People’s Liberation Army Naval Museum, Kiautschou Governor's Hall, Badaguan Scenic Area, Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion in Qufu, the Nishan Sacred Land, and the Jade Emperor Peak of Mount Tai. Through personally traveling to these important historical and cultural places, students clearly recognized the country's modern history and maritime territorial sovereignty, and personally experienced the shock of ascending to the peak of Mount Tai; this not only deeply made them feel the strength and development of the motherland, but also effectively enhanced the students' national identity, further inspiring feelings of home and country as well as a sense of national pride.
