The Third Teacher Development Day

2026-06-22

The Third Teacher Development Day of this academic year was successfully held on 15th June. In the first session, a senior registered social worker delivered the talk ‘When Teachers Meet Parents-Skills for Communicating with Parents'. Through the talk, staff gained insight into the causes of common communication barriers. They also learned, through real-case studies, how to communicate effectively with different types of parents, thereby strengthening home-school collaboration and enhancing the connection between parents and the school.

In the second session, the workshop "Tendon, Muscle, and Joint Health" helped staff understand the relationship between myofascial pain and related conditions and learn how to stay away from pain through exercise and stretching. Guided by the instructors, staff were able to learn safe and effective stretching methods immediately, including how to relieve stress in the spine, neck, and the muscles of the lower back-contributing to improved physical and mental well-being.
