The Academic Week of this year was
held from May 11 to May 15, under the theme “Intangible Cultural Heritage in
Guangdong”. Through competitions and workshops in diverse interactive formats,
students gained a deeper understanding of the intangible cultural heritage of
Guangdong, thereby enhancing their awareness of cultural preservation and
strengthening their national identity. Activities included the “ICH Classroom”,
“Hand-carving Workshop”, “Dim Sum Making Workshop”, “Lion Dance Experience”,
and a series of prize-winning booth games. During the assembly, Mr. Cho Chau
Ming, Chairman of Hing Lung Street Neighborhood Association, explained the
history and cultural significance of the Cheung Chau Bun Festival, while Master
