On April 23rd, World Book Day, our school participated in the city-wide "Read for 30 Minutes" initiative organized by the My Book One Club. During the morning reading session, students engaged with curated excerpts under the theme "Blissful Moments Between Pages," exploring self-worth and life choices through the power of the written word.
The momentum continued during lunch break as the school library hosted a dedicated 30-minute reading session, which saw pupils turning up of their own accord; the library was packed to capacity. After their silent reading, participants captured their thoughts and favorite quotes on sticky notes, adorning the library’s "Book Wall" and collectively weaving a tapestry of their own blissful moments. This campaign aimed to nurture a lifelong love for reading, reminding students that even amidst a hectic school life, opening a book can always provide a sanctuary of peace and inspiration.
